1950: Wolford is born.

1954: Wolford launches the revolutionary seamless nylon stockings.

1969: Wolford introduces the first perfectly fitting, transparent tights.

1977: Miss Wolford: transparent support stockings with a forming panty area and a graduated support function for the legs.

1981: Wolford collaborates with Chantal Thomass.

1983: Aerobics range: bodysuits in three styles, keep-fit tights, leggings, legwarmers, and headbands.

1988: Satin Touch: the brand’s everlasting bestseller.

1992: Body revolution: bodysuits without side seams, knitted from innovations Synergy yarns. 

1994: Fatal: the first completely seamless tights.

1994: Wolford partners with Thierry Mugler. 

1997: Merino: a combination of style and technology.

1999: Jean Paul Gaultier and Wolford team up on a capsule collection.

2004: Wolford collaborates with Pucci, Karl Lagerfeld, and Vivienne Westwood.

2006: Wolford launches capsule collections with Kenzo and Missoni.

2007: Wolford joins forces with Valentino and Zac Posen.

2010: Wolford secures a license agreement with the Armani Group. 

2011: Wolford unveils pioneering shaping styles.

2014-15: Pure 50 + 10 tights: an ultra-soft legwear range featuring invisible glued seams. Wolford becomes the world’s first manufacturer of tights supported by bluesign®.

2017: The collaboration with Marina Hoermanseder.

2018: Aurora: the first biodegradable leggings. Wolford obtains the Cradle to Cradle™ Gold Certificate for biological (2018) and technical cycle (2019).

2020: Wolford launches athleisure – the new pinnacle of the brand’s portfolio.

2021: Wolford collaborates with adidas and Amina Muaddi.

2022: More collaborations follow: Alberta Ferretti x Wolford, GCDS x Wolford, Mugler x Wolford and Sergio Rossi x Wolford.

2023: The latest capsule collections include Simkhai x Wolford and a collaboration with N21.
